Religious School

At Temple Beth-El, Jewish learning and the future of our Jewish community begins with our children. We are committed to providing a quality Jewish education and a fun learning experience.

Our Religious School meets the 2nd and 4th Sunday of most months from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for grades K-3rd. Hebrew instruction begins in Grade 4 on the same days from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. An additional morning of Hebrew will be held most months, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Learning begins promptly at 9 AM for Hebrew, 10 AM for Religious School. At 11:30 AM we meet in the sanctuary with our students and their parents to discuss what we have learned and pray together (and show off a little!). Our Torah Tykes, roughly ages 3-5 meets on Religious School days from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, for fun, music and crafts. Parents and Grandparents are encouraged to participate!

For a school year calendar, please contact the Temple Office or the Religious School Director (below). We begin and end our school year typically with a barbeque/pool party. Come join the fun!

If you are unsure about whether you wish to enroll or if your children will enjoy it, please come on any Religious School day as a visitor with your children and see what we are about! We welcome multi-faith families (we have many). Please ask if you have any questions, but our calendar is sensitive to Volusia Schools and secular and other religious holidays. The calendar is available in the Temple office or by email request to the email below.

If you have any questions, please contact our Religious School Director, Trienah Meyers, at czarina52@live.com or 386.846.6619.

We hope you will consider enrolling your child in our Religious School!
